President
Don Cape
Don Cape, Jr. has been involved in real estate development and finance for over thirty years with direct experience in real estate investment banking, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), real estate private equity, commercial and residential real estate development, hospitality and restaurants. As the founding partner of JWT Capital, LLC, Don is involved in the acquisitions, development and management of a variety of commercial and residential projects. Prior to founding JWT Capital, Don worked at Sonnenblick Goldman, Chateau Communities and Thermo Companies.
Don is an active member of the Bozeman community with involvement on a variety of boards to include past Finance Chair for the Museum of the Rockies, Chairman of MSU Foundation’s ATI board, Montana State University Foundation Board of Governors, Board of Montana Special Olympics, Board of Montana World Affairs Council, community advisory board for First Interstate Bank and the Big Sky Chapter of Young Presidents Organization. He received his Masters in Real Estate and Construction Management from the Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver and his BS degree in Business Finance at Montana State University.

Shavon Cape
Shavon Cape started her career as a financial advisor with D.A. Davidson and Wachovia Securities, Inc. In 2004; she left that profession to begin working alongside Don Cape in real estate development. In addition to supporting Don in development projects in Bozeman and Billings Montana. Shavon has served on the board of directors for Eagle Bancorp Montana, Inc. which is the holding company for Opportunity Bank of Montana since 2015.
Shavon is an active member of the Bozeman community and has been involved in a variety of boards to include Montana State University College of Business Jabs National Advisory Board, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Big Sky Country, Thrive, Morning Star School PAC, Superintendent’s Advisory Board – Bozeman School District and P.E.O. She received a BS degree in Business Marketing at Montana State University.

hannah Cape
Hannah Cape grew up in the Bozeman community and has always had a deep appreciation for the place she calls home. She graduated from Bozeman High School before attending Boise State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in marketing.
After college, Hannah moved to Denver, Colorado to join Sage Hospitality Group in their accounting and finance department. During her time with Sage, she held multiple roles across both the corporate office and property-level operations, gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting, hotel operations, and strategic analysis.
Driven by her passion for Montana and the Bozeman community, Hannah returned home to join JWT Companies. She now serves as Asset Manager, overseeing hotel projects, day-to-day operations, investor relations, and financial reporting across the company’s hospitality and commercial portfolio. Her role spans multiple disciplines, and she enjoys the variety and challenge of wearing many hats to support the continued growth of the organization.
Hannah is also active in the community, serving as the Finance Chair on the Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) Board.

carter Cape
Carter Cape brings a passion for real estate and construction to JWT Companies, where he drives development initiatives across the Mountain West. A graduate of Colorado State University with dual degrees in Construction Management and Business Administration (concentration in Real Estate Finance), and he served as president of the Real Estate Club during his senior year.
His hands-on experience began in college, interning as a field and project engineer for Bozeman-area contractors like North Fork Builders and Martel Construction. There, he honed skills in estimating, scheduling, cost tracking, and LEED certifications, contributing to efficient project delivery and sustainable practices. After graduation in May 2024, Carter returned to Bozeman to join JWT Companies, focusing on capital expenditure projects, hotel renovations, and operational strategies to boost RevPAR and reduce costs. He performs cost-benefit analyses on CAPEX initiatives, manages renovations as developer or general contractor, and maximizes property value through targeted improvements and owner-managed trades.
Beyond his professional role, Carter is an Eagle Scout, volunteers with Love Inc., and enjoys spending time in Montana’s backcountry. His blend of technical expertise, market analysis, and self-motivated drive positions him to deliver innovative solutions for JWT's diverse portfolio.
